## In customers' own words
_Verbatim quotes from this contractor's public reviews, each attributed to its source:_
> "Foundation Issues We had David from Procore Foundation Repair Systems come to our business to help determine why we were having water leakage issues. David was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful at offering suggestions for making repairs to our building. Although it was not a deep foundation issue (this is David's expertise). He was honest and set us on a path to remediate our leaking issues. It's really nice when a business helps out another non-profit business, even when they are not being paid for the service."

> "Foundation All Around the House Foundation Thanks for an exceptional job repairing the foundation. This work including the weeping tiles, replacing my crush stones, earth, pavement, seeding and little extras here and there. I'm so happy to have called you guys. Thanks Corey for being true to your word. Thank you Jason for he work you did. Your the man!"

> "Foundation Repair I bought an older home that had a damp basement. As I started renovations, I quickly noticed a hole in the block foundation and other areas where water was getting into the house. Pro-Core professionally repaired foundation cracks, installed a membrane and drainage around the portion of the home where water was an issue, while also installing new weeping tile. I have not seen a trace of water in my home ever since their work, which gave me the piece of mind necessary to proceed with a complete renovation of the basement. The transferable warrantee Pro-Core offers also made selling my renovated house that much easier when my family decided to move as prospective buyers had the piece of mind of knowing that the basement was dry. Thanks to Corey and his team for a job very well done!"

## Before you hire a concrete contractor
_What to check when choosing this kind of trade (general guidance, not a claim about this business):_
- Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
- A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
- Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
- Check any credential evidence, and that the business details independently check out.
- Get a written quote and keep guarantee, insurance and payment terms in writing.
