Anthony Paving provided a prompt, competitive quote that covered all of the details that we required, which included reducing the driveway size, completing a prior interlock walkway, putting in a block border along the driveway. The job went according to plan with great input from Phil the owner on how to devise and carry out the plan. They looked after all details and had a great partner in Hungarock to do the border and interlock work. Both the Anthony Paving and Hungarock crews were completely professional, did not scrimp on materials and left a clean work site. While having the work done, one neighbor came by to say that Anthony Paving had done their driveway 15 years ago and it still looked new. Excellent (I have only given this twice). Mid price! 3 Neighbours also tried 5 estimates. Explained process and quoted 2 prices...one for just paving with no extra excavation, other with deeper excavation due to clay in area. Other 3 neighbours paid a little more , no complaints. We saw "Anthony Paving" signs in the neighbourhood and decide to give them a call to quote our driveway, along with a few other paving companies to get comparison quotes. We met with a few different representatives from their respective companies. When all was said and done we felt that Phil (Anthony Paving) presented the best option for us. Our choice was not strictly based on the price of the job, we took all aspects into account. We choose Anthony Paving because we felt that he listened and gave us the time so we could explain what our needs and expectations were along with competitive pricing. We had some minor changes that we decided to do between the "removal and installation" of the new asphalt and Phil was happy to accommodate us. When they arrived for both the removal of old driveway and install of the new driveway the team was professional, friendly and made sure to clean up before leaving. Before Phil left he made sure to ask us if we were happy with the results and had any concerns or questions. We told him that we were happy and it was a pleasure working with him.
