Avro Landscaping

May 15, 2015 ### We had AVRO do a ... We had AVRO do a large amount of landscaping for us last year and the experience was anything but pleasant. We continually had to follow-up to find out when they would be coming and what they were going to do. Their manager would tell me he would send me drawings, only for us to find his team starting work without any formal approvals. When work was not done how we expected, he would get angry and say it was how we told him (he said she said). Recommend to stay clear of this company.

May 5, 2015 ### They are very ove... They are very over priced, did not turn out how we pictured it. Secretary was clueless when it came to our billing, completely overcharged us. Manager was very rude, every time he came to our yard he was screaming and yelling at his poor staff. The kids that were working on my yard were smoking non stop, leaving butts behind. Very unhappy, I would recommend Moore's or Second to Nature over this joke of a company.

August 19, 2014 ### This is the worst... This is the worst company ever. They did my side walk last year september and the side walk developed problem this year. I have been calling their office for the past one month and they keep promising that somebody will get back to me. Nobody ever did. The told me today that the person I have to talk to is their general manager, this is a guy who doesn't pick his calls.

August 6, 2014 ### They installed my... They installed my sod last year and I had a lot of winter kill over the winter and I called them in the spring, they said they would come look at it, emailed and called several times to follow up and I never heard back from them. No guarantees with this company.

July 15, 2014 ### Called Avro to as... Called Avro to ask for someone to come out with a bobcat to remove a 5x7 concrete pad from our backyard. When I first spoke to Avro on the phone, I was told the cost for the bobcat would be $100/hr, plus $125-150 for removal of the concrete. I said that price was fine, and wanted to get someone out ASAP to do the job. I was paying cash, which was great because they advised they were very booked up, but sometimes their contractors will do a cash job on the side and fit it into their schedule! I said there couldn't be more than an hours work. I waited for 5 days (which is fine, I realize it is busy season) and I got a message frim Avro. I was told that they would be willing to come out and do the job for $1,000 cash!! Unbelieveable! That's 10 times the rate I was quoted on the phone for a job they KNEW would be done in less than an hour. I was outright offended. I would have rather been told they simply didn't want my business, because that was what quoting me that astronomical rate for this very small job was clearly designed to do - send me packing! My husband and I rented a jackhammer from Home Depot for $65, and did the job ourselves in 45 minutes including loading up the scrap concrete and taking it to the dump. Unfortunately, we have a significant amount of landscaping work to do in our yard this summer and next, and are prepared to spend upwards of $10k for it all. I won't be spending it with Avro.
