“I was in a panic. My 44 year old Stanley garage door opener was suddenly on its last legs on Thursday night. The lock to the rear door of the garage was broken with no other access to the garage. I was really worried that the garage door was not going to open in the morning with my car inside. Erick responded to my overnight e-mail and called me at 9:30, found me a better deal on the garage door opener that I had selected, juggled some commitments and arranged for an emergency installation on Friday afternoon. Tim gave me a heads up at 12:45 PM that he would be arriving at 1:00 PM (was promised he'd be there between 1 -3) & quickly & efficiently installed my Chamberlain unit in just over an hour. He then explained how to operate the unit and was kind enough to inspect a neighbour's opener and gave her some helpful tips for some problems that she had been experiencing. The service call concluded with a discussion re options/pricing for some new weather stripping around the garage door which will be delivered/installed next week. Very fair pricing! Garage Door Geeks, Erick and Tim, define customer service through how accommodating, efficient and helpful they were. Very grateful that I found them! (The 'approximate cost' reflects the installation of the garage door opener and the purchase/installation of the weather stripping. I provided the garage door opener)”

Garage Door Repair
We had an unanticipated garage door malfunction as the system is not even 10 years old. I had no idea who to contact so I started looking at the reviews of companies on HomeStars. The reviews for Garage Door Geeks stood out as did their "Best of" wins. Eric was very helpful initially and Pavel arrived the same day. He was able to diagnose the problem and found a cost-effective solution that he was able to accomplish the next day after getting the right part. Thank you Eric and Pavel for a job well done! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone in need.
Garage Door Opener - Repair
Absolutely excellent, professional and honest service. I am very impressed and I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to anyone experiencing garage door opener issues. The service technician was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I cannot say enough good things about this firm.
Great installation
Upgraded an older spring system to a torsion spring system, repaired various garage door rails. Great service and price.
Torsion spring replacement
I used them to replace the torsion springs on my garage door. They were very responsive by both email and phone. Very dedicated team. On the day of service, the assigned technician had a delay at his previous appointment and couldn't come on time, so the owner himself came to ensure that the job gets done as scheduled. He took the time to show me the work, answer my many questions, gave me tips on how to do yearly lubrication myself and showed me how to do. I highly recommend them.
Excellent Job
We needed a garage door to cut off the back of the property from a lane way. Garage Door Geeks quote was reasonable. When the job was done, it was done professionally and we are quite satisfied with their work. I also called them about a couple of special requests and the people in their office were very helpful.

Absolutely the Best
Garage Door Geeks are absolutely worth the Homestars ratings they have earned. We were having opening and closing issues with our garage door. I called G D G this morning a little after 9 AM and spoke with Erik. He listened to my problem, got my location and arranged for a technician to be at my place by around noon - THAT SAME DAY! Pavel arrived a bit before noon after calling to let me know he was on the way. Pavel was very knowledgeable and efficient and examined my system. He recognized where the problem was stemming from, a wobbly drive rail. He secured the rail and adjusted and tightened the side rails and lubricated the system. When he left, my door was rock solid and moving perfectly. We were only charged with a service call. You cannot beat service and expertise like Garage Door Geeks. Simply FANTASTIC.

Pavel arrived on time and within 30 minutes had my garage door spring replaced and the door re-adjusted to operate better and smoother than ever. I highly recommend Garage Door Geeks for their professional and efficient staff and for the work performed. Thank you.
Absolutely terrific
I had Garage Door Geeks come to give a quote and recommendations for my garage doors. One double door (which everyone could quote me on), and one custom width door. That was the tricky part but Oleh sourced out a small door and cut it for a custom fit. The entire job was professional, courteous and very reasonably priced. Great attention to detail. Wonderful job on the capping too. I enjoy the wifi door opener they installed. Ive had so many compliments on the doors and it changed the look of my house. This work was done in December 2019 and they look and operate like new. Thanks guys, my apologies for not writing a review sooner. I highly recommend this company!

Garage door maintenance
I first found Garage Door Geeks on HomeStars back in 2014 when the spring broke on the door. Nazar came out then and fixed the problem and also installed a new garage door opener as the old one was not working well. Great service back then. I called to have them come out again for general maintenance as the door was sounding like a mini earthquake under the living room floor every time it was opened and closed. Yurii fixed this problem by balancing the door, replacing the old noisy metal rollers and giving everything a good lubrication. This wooden door is approximately 30 years old and now runs so quiet, the quietest it's ever been. Another job well done. I wouldn't call anyone else but these guys. They're the best.
Garage Door Opener Replacement
These guys rate tops in service for all the reasons that other satisfied customers have rated 10 stars for them. My 17 year old garage door opener had served me well but finally we decided that it needed to be replaced. Using Home Stars I figured that Garage Door Geeks were the guys to call. Here was my experience: Initial call to Eric to provide my requirements - 11 am Subsequent call from Nazar to get a very reasonable cost quote - noon Subsequent home visit from Pavel to install - 3:30 pm Job successfully completed - 4:30 pm You can't do better than that in my opinion. Thanks very much guys !
