“Composite Deck I really like the quality and look of our new composite deck. Friends and family have complimented on the same. It really blends in well with the house. Jamie and his staff were very professional. I had spilled some grease on the deck boards after barbecuing some bacon and Jamie provided some valuable advise for removing what I thought might be a permanent stain. Deck Replacement Our deck project contained of the demolition of the old deck and building of a new deck that wrapped around the side and part of the backyard. We asked four contractors for quotes and Jamie was the only one who came out with brochures, ideas, and he listened to what we needed. The subsequent quote was detailed with several options we discussed with him prior including drawings (which we expected from each contractor). Tyler was our main carpenter and he worked diligently and meticulously even through snow and ice. The end result is a deck that we are very happy with. What impressed me the most was the engineering of the deck since we had some issue with sagging and with the new foundation, it looks sturdy for many years to come.
Large Deck Off Back of our House Very pleased with the customer service. The design and craftsmanship is outstanding. I highly recommend this builder.
New Deck Design and Installation We needed a deck to be built along the back of our house, about 75 feet in length. We got quotes from multiple builders but we felt the most comfortable with Jamie Hurst and Hickory Dickory Decks. We sat down with Jamie and outlined what we would like to see for our new deck, what materials, what kind of layout, how many levels, etc. He came up with plans that met our budget using the materials we requested and some brand new products that the company were coming out with. He was very honest about what was realistic for us given our budget and was able to re-use materials. Work began earlier this year and was completed in less than 2 weeks. The employees were very professional and even put up with our dogs running around and bothering them. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work Jamie and his crew have done and everyone who has seen and used the deck have raved about how great it looks. We highly recommend Jamie and Hickory Dickory Decks.
