July 10, 2018 Gary took my deposit, took down my cabinets and never did work. Came up with excuses after excuses for not showing up. I finally had to pick up my unfinished cabinets in some abandoned back yard after I threatened to call the police. He still has not returned my deposit.

January 26, 2018 Gary over promises and under delivers. He was hired to paint our cabinets and fireplace. Within a few weeks the cabinets stared to chip. We waited until after the holidays and contacted Gary. He said he would be more than happy to come and repair the chips. He made 2 appointments and never showed up. I would NOT recommend this company.

January 7, 2018 I would not recommend this company. They completed the project but are not reliable for follow ups. I contacted Gary to come check the paint as it was chipping. We scheduled a date and time and he never messaged or showed up. I rescheduled and he apologized, then he never communicated or showed up again. This happened 2 more times. It’s rude and ridiculous. This company is not reliable.

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Their public rating is on the low side. Read the most recent reviews yourself before deciding.
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
No credentials are shown here and the business has not claimed this profile. Ask to see certificates and insurance directly.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
