Gord's Electric

April 23, 2025 Gord’s Electric guided me though the generator hook up requirements that I am planning for my home. Thanks to his expertise, I will now be able to stay warm and keep my refrigerators working in the next power outage. I didn’t realize how much of the installation plan was related to electrical safety and generator safety. All of my questions were answered with knowledge and accuracy as well as answered after hours. His knowledge, skill and workmanship is unprecedented.

October 2, 2024 I had a problem with my fireplace,as part of it was not working.I called Gord’s Electric and spoke to Scott about making an appointment.Scott came to my home the next day and was right on time.He got down to business and found out what the problem was,in which a part would have to be obtained from Dimplex. In checking out the electrical system Scott discovered two errors made by a previous electrician that he corrected. Great electrician,would certainly call him again. Tim

June 12, 2023 Needed electrical removed from my shed. Was done by the previous homeowner and was not legal at all. He took the time to explain and show me what was wrong, and how he was going to fix it. He got rid of it and it was done fast, and professionally. Would highly recommend their services. I will be using their services again in the future when I need more electrical work done.

January 25, 2023 I would highly recommend Gord's Electric. I called about upgrading some basement light fixtures. They responded quickly and scheduled the work within a couple of days. The job was completed quickly and I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the cost.

October 13, 2022 We wanted to transform our single car garage into an art studio for my wife and knew we would need some upgraded lighting, new outlets, and a heater for the cold months. We contacted Gord's Electric for a consultation and Scotty came out to evaluate the job for us. He provided us with some excellent recommendations and designed the lighting layout for maximum coverage and uniformity. September 14, 2022 We hired an electrician to install 4 new smoke detectors 2.5 years ago. The one on the main level started chirping (it wasn't a battery issue), so the manufacturer sent us a replacement, had it installed and it too started chirping less than a year later (again, not a battery issue). Concerned about what was going on, I called Gord's Electric and Scotty came by a few days later. Thank God we called him, there were some serious and dangerous wiring issues that he found and fixed.

August 4, 2022 Scott is a master at what he does! He is truly a master electrician. He added some much needed receptacles in my kitchen, living room, basement and out door as well. He installed an electrical car charger in the garage too. His attention to detail is exceptional, quality of work is out of this world and advice are invaluable. He has a good reputation among inspectors too. I highly recommend Scott.
