We are the professional practice body for Interior Designers in Saskatchewan. The Interior Designers Association of Saskatchewan (IDAS) is a professional, non-profit organization, which represents and regulates Interior Design practitioners in Saskatchewan. The role of the IDAS is to administer ‘The Interior Designers Act’ (1995. c.1.10.02.s.3) on behalf of the Province of Saskatchewan. To conduct the affairs of the profession of Interior Design within the province of Saskatchewan as set out in the Act in areas of professional standards, regulatory compliance, ethics and continuing education to acquire and maintain professional standing of members. Hiring a Registered Interior Designer will ensure you quality service, a certified knowledgeable designer, a code of ethics and insurance. We require all members to carry insurance. If a non registered person is using the term Interior Designer they will be fined. If you are unsure if you have used a professional or unsure if someone is falsely pretending to be an Interior Designer we are happy to aid you. idasadmin@idas,com.
