Jspec Roofing

JSPEC did a great job with my roof - not the cheapest around, and not the most expensive. Their attention to detail, follow up, and workmanship was excellent. I'm very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I've included a before and after photo so you can see a portion of the work that was completed.

The shingles on the back half of my roof were torn off in a freak wind gust in March. Justin and his assistant arrived within an hour of me calling and temporarily laid waterproof material down to protect the roof while I called my insurance. Unfortunately the insurance company was unresponsive for weeks, while Justin held off charging anything. He came back a second time to retack the membrane. When I finally heard back that the insurance wouldn't cover it, Justin was extremely helpful in arranging to fix the roof. They finished the job in less than 4 hours and left everything neat and tidy. Great job!

Jspec is a quality outfit. Justin set the tone by showing up on time for an initial consolation, answered everyone's questions and provided a detailed, professional quote. When the project started, materials and tools were on-sight and they just went at it hammer and tongs. No delays, no "we've just got to go back to this other project for a few days, then we'll be back..." - none of those stunts. They just got it done quickly and professionally, and the quality is great. They keep the job site clean and did a thorough clean up and the end. It's just so much easier to part with large chunks of cash on home improvement projects when you get the outcome you wanted. I wish more contractors where like Jspec.

JSPEC was referred to me by Velux as a flat roof contractor and a certified installer of their skylights which | had already purchased before the roof was framed. Justin's team did an excellent job with the 2 ply flat roof and skylight installation. I've already had other trades compliment the workmanship. There was no stress, no games, and no shortcuts. His crew was very professional. Justin is also very knowledgeable with the entire end to end construction process and was happy to give advice in a few areas. | would highly recommend JSPEC.

Justin and the JSPEC crew were amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Justin will be the first to tell you that they aren't the cheapest, but that's because they are careful and do things right. I didn't want the cheapest roofer, I wanted the one that was going to keep our house dry and comfortable and make sure the work looked great in the end. That was JSPEC. They replaced our flat roof (removing four layers of old roof in the process!) while adding 4" of rigid insulation, extended the eaves, installed a new steel shingle roof on the peaked portion of the house, replaced some cedar shingles on the front, and replaced the soffits and fascia on two sides of the house. They took great care to make sure everything looked fantastic, even though the weather was cold and miserable most of the time. They also improved and repaired other existing issues they found while doing the work. Their work on this project went beyond just typical roofing, and most of the other roofing companies I talked to balked at taking on a project like this. JSPEC had no reservations about taking on the job. The other thing about JSPEC is that Justin and the crew are just really nice guys. I enjoyed talking with the guys working on the house and they were happy to answer all my questions. Ive received many compliments from neighbours on how nice the house looks with the new metal roof, and we couldn't be happier with the way it came out. I wouldn't use anyone but JSPEC on any future roofing work and I highly recommend.
