About KIM JAKOBSEN DESIGN

Since I was young, I have always had a passion, nearly obsession, for even the smallest details and the perfection of them. My creativity, my great and inexhaustible curiosity and desire for experimentation, led me to my love for architecture and design in all of its shades and expressions. In my professional career, I have always traveled a lot: I have lived in BC, Alberta and now New Brunswick and traveled extensively throughout Canada, US and Europe. While on these trips I am constantly observing other cultures, art, design and architecture which inspires my work when I return. In 2013 life changes brought me to starting my own venture Kim Jakobsen Design. The open office space of Hemmings House was my first design project in the building and recently completed the office of Revolution Strategy & Talons of Venice, which has just made the top 4 finalist for the "Best Office space Atlantic Canada" Progress Magazine. My ability to design is based on carefully listening to the customer, making his/her demands “mine” and “presenting” him/her with a new view of the space to be created. I have always been of the idea that in order to get a good design, you do not need to spend a fortune…“put your trust in me, and you’ll be glad you did! We are passionate about environmentally friendly, sustainable and energy efficient designs. And my mission is to listen, design, create and impress!
