Lynday Stokes Interiors is a one woman design business. I love what I do. My goal is to create a beautiful and functional space for every one of my clients, and to let their space allow their own unique personality and design style to shine. My work as a fine artist has given me a great eye for color combinations and balance in a space. No job is too large or too small, I provide everything from one hour color consultations to plans for full renovations. I also provide hand drawn three dimensional renderings so my clients can have a visual of the space before the project even starts. I find this is EXTREMELY helpful to my clients and is one the most popular services I provide. I have worked in homes both new and old. I provide layouts and three dimensional renderings as well as help to select finishes, colors, furniture, and accessories for newer homes, while also working in older homes to make the most out of what can often be "awkward" spaces. In over 18 years of independent business, I have worked in both residential and commercial settings. Whether it be helping a client build their home from scratch, or doing an extensive remodel of an existing home, I have experience in both. I have also had the opportunity to provide commercial design services for showrooms, office and retail spaces. In addition to working with my own clients, many of whom are repeat customers, I have also worked with large home builders including Ventura Custom Homes. I enjoy watching for new and trending design concepts but I am also very practical at heart and I love to provide design that has a timeless element combined with great function. My greatest satisfaction comes from presenting a design to a client and hearing " that's exactly what I wanted!"
