Great workmanship!

What more can I say other than just a top-notch, professional experience from pre-sales all the way through to post-sales. Simon is a true professional and was extremely helpful and responsive during the quotation process. I've never seen such a detailed breakdown. He was upfront that his labour per sq ft was not cheap, but it was still well within reason. He was proactive in keeping us up-to-date; I got very used to being gently reminded "I will keep you updated" and this was always the case. Even when we changed our minds (sometimes three times a day), they simply rolled with it and accommodated our requests in a timely manner. Simon was also very frank about what was needed and what might be extraneous or impractical. Ultimately, it's our money but he always gave sage advice. And at the same time, if a request was ridiculous, he would tell us why in a very professional manner. The work itself was fantastic. MVR does its own locates, and we had zero issues even though there was Rogers cable line that was exposed, and our own cable from the box running into the side of the house. Nothing was cut due to care. There are two crews, and they are extremely professional, timely and clean. They would never intrude even though we tried to make them feel comfortable. Extremely hard-working and focused. Mistakes happen, and if they were made, the crew re-did whatever had to be redone to make sure the end result was more than satisfactory. We really appreciated this dedication and level to detail, and in the case of the mistake it was not MVR's fault. Some bricks ordered were not quite the size they were listed at, and over the length of a driveway the difference in a millimeter adds up. Additionally, these guys dig DEEP. 4-6" depth is recommended minimum from Unilock, MVR will dig 1ft for "walking" pavers and 2ft for anything vehicle bearing (driveway). Simon did a fantastic job with the landscaping project. They did a large back patio pad, drive extension and side walkway and front and back steps. Simon and his team did high quality work that I can tell is meant to last and is backed by his warranty. The quality of his work shows from the solid base he built for the pavers. He dug a good 1-2feet for the base and compacted the gravel. In the laying the paver, the team were meticulously in making sure they are level, appropriately spaced and neatly cut where needs. Overall I am very satisfied for the work and would say I got the value for what I paid him. I look forward to hiring him next season to do my driveway.

Simon and his team from MVR Landscaping did a highly commendable interlocking work for the backyard, side walkway, and front walkway of my house. The project was extra complex, since he had to fully rip out a shoddy and incomplete job by a previous contractor, and do it again from scratch with the highest levels of craftmanship. I had my driveway extended and re-paved using MVR this Fall. Simon was extremely responsive communication-wise and elaborate on the details regarding the project. Despite changes in the project at my end (such as the decision to extend the driveway which was not in the initial plan), Simon was able to accommodate them with ease. The quality of work performed by his team, especially the paving, was excellent. I have received numerous compliments on the new driveway from my neighbors with others requesting more information on MVR's contact details. It took the team a total of 5 days to complete the work once all material was received - from lifting old stones, reveling and compacting base to slop away from home, driveway extension, new structured steps, side walkway, small patio outside main door, to the sodding and grading of new lawn laid on side of house. Even when I was unhappy with the color of the stone I had ordered for the steps (internet pictures can be deceiving) , Simon was accommodating to me changing the stone after it was initially laid.
