October 14, 2022 Stay away!!! The plumber, Lorenzo (has no last name OR hides it) was clueless. My drain got clogged. Started by asking me which machine I wanted him to use. "Do you want me to use the big one or the small one? the big one costs more" Told him that he was the plumber and he should have known which tool to use. To make long story short, he caused the drain pipe to collapse by using excessive power. Lucky enough for me (according to him), HE FOUND SOMEONE THAT WILL SHOW UP THE FOLLOWING MORNING AN

June 10, 2017 Friday june 9th i called this company to help me with one of my long term customers as i was sick with the flu.. there ad says 24/7 and its true .. they answered the phone and got to my customer on time.. my customer said he would live for them to come back and do some upgrades to there home as they gave such a fair price and excellent service! Thanks guy.. if i can use you again i will!!

November 18, 2013 ### Definitely not prompt. Aside from the original consultation they were late for every single scheduled appointment. One morning they were set to start at 7:30am and didn't show up until almost 11. I lost hours of my own work just waiting for them. The job kept getting pushed longer, probably in part due to their repeated lateness, and since it was a major repair and required the floor of my basement apartment to be dug up I ended up having to pay for my tenant to stay elsewhere. They didn't bother putting tarps over my tenanting's belongings until after they had already started and gotten dirt everything and even then they never put a tarp on her couch. There was one day we had arranged for them to be done by a certain time because I had to go into my office and there would be nobody left at home. That time came, the work was not done and there was a worker just sitting on site playing on his phone. When I asked what was going on he said he had to wait on another worker to show up before he could finished. That worker never showed up and he eventually just left which resulted in me missing an entire day of work for nothing. Part of the work they did was putting in a back water valve and I was originally told they would be taking care of the paper work for the back water valve rebate then bringing it to me to sign. A couple weeks went by and I didn't hear from them so I called and was informed the boss was on vacation and I'd have to wait till he returned since he was the one who dealt with any paper work. Once I finally got a hold of him I was told to take care of the rebate application myself. It turned out the invoice they had given me was not itemized or marked as paid in full which is necessary to apply for the rebate so I requested another copy. It has now been over 2 months since the work was finished and I still have not received a new copy of the invoice or the other necessary information for the rebate application. This company is uncoo

January 17, 2013 ### Do Not Use Mario at Prompt Plumbing & Drain! I called the owner, Mario, and got a quote to snake a drain in my kitchen. He said that he would send one of his plumbers out to do it today, after 4 hours, I call him again to find out what was happening. I told him that I don't mind when it gets done as long as it is today, while it is my day off but, I had a few things to do and I didn't want to blow the whole day waiting on a plumber, can you give a ballpark time so I can go out and run errands. He said that he would call his plumber and have him contact me, he never did. A couple hours later I call him back and he says to me that he couldn't get his guy because he was in the basement or something. Then he says that he will try until 5pm and if he couldn't get him that he would come out himself and snake the drain....... Well, lo and behold, it is 9pm, I have wasted most of my day off waiting for a plumber that never came and now when I call I get an answering machine. This guy has no class, he could have said that he couldn't do it and I would've just kept calling around until I found someone that could. Now my kids and I are stuck for at least another day or two without laundry and the ability to wash our dishes in the kitchen sink. My time is valuable too.....a whole day lost....because of some clown with no respect for others, no class, or the backbone to complete a job. Imagine, if he would do this on a small job, how could you trust this guy on a large one.......I wouldn't hire Mario. Do yourself a favour and call a real plumber/contractor!
