In short, Pulsar Design creates sophisticated spaces that cater to each and every individual. *** HISTORY: Pulsar Design was established 2001, when Lillian Besevic, an interior designer, wanted to find a company that could create custom cabinetry to her client’s needs and specifications. After working with several firms, she was unable to find a company that could offer flexibility in design in addition to meeting her high standards of quality. Soon after, she started Pulsar Design so that she could build what her clients wanted, how they wanted it. Today, Lillian and her partner, Vladimir, run a successful business based on their commitment to providing quality custom cabinetry and outstanding customer service. *** STANDARD: Our standards of excellence are apparent in each stage of the design, production and installation process. We coordinate every aspect of the design, manufacturing and installation process, sparing you the hassle and burden of managing the project yourself. *** New Homes: When Pulsar Design installs a kitchen into a new home, the work is often carried out under the direction of the homebuilder. As a result, our focus is to integrate with the builder’s schedule and maintain in constant communication so that there aren’t any unnecessary delays. *** HOW WE DO IT: 1) Visit: Make an appointment to visit our showroom to talk to our experienced designer. 2) Design: We will walk you through the decision making process in an easy, comfortable way. "We worked with Lillian from Pulsar Design on a major home renovation — finishing our basement and completely gut-renovating the main floor, including the kitchen, new flooring, HVAC and electrical upgrades, wall removals, and adding a new patio door. Despite the large scope, the house was move-in ready in just three months — a critical deadline since my wife was pregnant and due in July. Lillian took that timeline seriously and delivered. She was always quick to respond, easy to collaborate with, and open to iterating on design ideas to make them even better. She also brought in a great contracting team and managed the project seamlessly, with transparent pricing and clear communication throughout. The custom built-ins her husband crafted for our kitchen, basement, and entryway are beautifully made and a real highlight of the home. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Pulsar Design."
"Professional. Creative. Trustworthy. When we first decided to have our kitchen renovated, we had no idea where to start and who to contact. Upon meeting Lillian of Pulsar, we were immediately put at ease. Pulsar was able to handle all aspects of the reno. Ideas, drawings, guided trips to the countertop warehouses, building the cabinets and contracting other professionals to get everything properly installed. My most appreciated aspects were that we were given options we never even would have thought of and all questions/issues were taken care of promptly. I have no reservations in giving Pulsar my highest recommendation."
"I am many months late writing this review, but felt it was important to to do so in any event given how great the customer experience was for the projects that they designed and constructed in my home. Another reviewer has already commented on these very projects (hence the similar pictures), but speaking from the customer side I can confirm that everything that was said about Pulsar Design in that review is 100% accurate. 6-8 months after the installation of the larger unit in my basement and 5 months after the installation on my redesigned office I remain entirely satisfied with the craftsmanship and quality of these units and all the work that went into them. Both were custom pieces and yet were installed seamlessly to match my home and look as if they had always been part of the design. Every feature that I asked for was included, the team that did the installation was professional and Lillian was amazing at coordinating everything over the months that it took for all of these plans to come together. Anyone who is looking for custom pieces for their home needs to consider the Pulsar team, they do phenomenal work."

I recently worked with Lillian from Pulsar Design. She was professional, prompt and very responsive. As an interior designer myself, I enjoyed collaborating with her on my own office studio storage unit. She took great care in ensuring I was happy with the custom colour and the install was fast and efficient. Any issues that arose Lillian went above and beyond to problem solve on the fly and it was clear that they care very much about their craftsmanship. I recommend them to my clients all the time.
Fabulous company to deal with. Attention to detail beyond. Had a picture from a magazine and they copied it exactly. Communication was always immediate. Designer on site for the complete installation overseeing everything. Thank you Lil
