October 3, 2017 Rick installed track lighting today and I couldn't be happier. It was a very professional job. He was very personable and answered all of our questions. I would recommend Rand Electric to anyone who needs electrical done. I know I will call them again.

May 12, 2017 I need some lighting installed into my new condo and Rand Electric did a great job. Their customer service was very accommodating to coordinate the appointment time. They sent one of their newer electrician, Rich. Rich not only new exactly what to do he worked fast and was very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Rand Electric to anyone who wants quality work for a fair price.

April 12, 2017 The Electrician who came to do the work was very knowledgeable and was able to provide some different design and pricing options based on my wants and budget. The work ended up being completed under budget and right on schedule. Their customer service is excellent and would use them again in the future.

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
