Jim did a great job painting my child’s room. He was here on time and done painting within two hours. The room looks perfect! I would definitely hire him again.

Jim is the guy you want. He is reliable and very reasonable. He would take the loss upon him if needed but would stick to his word. This was my first project with him and I hope to work with him again! Absolutely recommend this person! Great guy, does great job and is personable. Trust Jim and you won't regret!

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
No credentials are shown here and the business has not claimed this profile. Ask to see certificates and insurance directly.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
