Simply Home Decorating delivers style and ease to busy families who want to make the most of their homes whether they are spacious modern new-builds, well-loved 1950’s gems or something in between. I’m Lori Steeves, Founder and Creative Director of Simply Home Decorating, a boutique Interior Design Firm based in North Vancouver, British Columbia. My passion is uncovering hidden potential, transforming clients’ homes into refined, collected and enduring spaces that they love. I believe in the magic of GREAT design, the beauty and ease that comes from every detail being carefully considered, and I strive to bring that to every project. Having moved many times over the years, I appreciate all that it takes to make a home. I’ve honed a creative process that starts with listening — hearing what you want, understanding what you need and using what I discover to create the perfect backdrop for your life. I understand that you can’t always keep food out of the family room and your dog off the sofa - because I live this reality daily - and that’s why we specialize in decorating and renovating liveable family friendly & pet friendly homes where you will be proud to host your family and friends. Having completed 11 personal home renovation projects in the past 20 years I have a heightened appreciation of what my clients’ are going through and I think that makes me a better, more sensitive designer.
