Student Works Painting

We had StudentWorks local operator get a estimate to paint outside walls on our home. We agreed to a price and gave a deposit of 776.17 (20 % ?) as we looked at our financial situation we decided to do it ourselves. We contacted Aboody within 10 days to explain that we did not want to go ahead with their services. We asked for return of deposit which he claimed could not be returned. We had a lawyer contact StudentWorks in a letter explaing our problem. After over 2 weeks we have not received any reply. As I am a elderly man on disability due to Multiple Sclerosis which this company claims to support I would not recommend dealing with this company !

James informed us well in advance of the whole process. He was attentive to all our concerns and was able to resolve all issues in a timely manner. We had a drip on one of the posts and James came in at the end of the day from travelling all day and repaired the error. He is very conscientious and personable. Hope to hire him again next year for a different paint job.

I was worried about getting this project done because of our extremely unpredictable weather. The amount of prep was not a problem with the rain but painting certainly was! In the end we had a break in early September to complete the project.

Paint was not applied to whole surface. Dirt on window frames so I assume not painted. More specifics required. I thought a door being painted would include the frame around it. Apparently not so would not do. Climbing and leaning over roof edge with no safety harness a safety concern

Emmett and his team were extremely professional. They arrived when they said they would and kept me in the loop on the status of the project. There was a visit from Emmett same day the project was done to check that everything was done to our satisfaction. Very professional service.
