You are the main reason we were able to continue over the years. We also could not have reached this milestone without the hard work and support of our amazing team. William Bassels -The Chimney Company Inc. ________________________ The Chimney Company founder, William Bassels has been in the construction and real estate business for over 25 years. In 1994 he began specializing in the chimney building & repair and lining industry. He would obtain his W.E.T.T. certificates for “Technician and Sweep” and "SITE Basic Inspector" shortly after. Not being completely satisfied he contacted “Toronto Municipal Licensing & Standards” to be tested for chimney repairs and installation. He passed the exam and obtained a license as a “Chimney Repairman”. In 1997 The Chimney Company was officially incorporated and carries all the necessary credentials, license, certificates, workers coverage, liability insurance and guarantees. My chimney had sustained considerable wear and tear over the years and I hired the Chimney Company to undertake the repair. They were very professional, providing me with a written quote and answering all of my questions from insurance coverage to the steps involved in fixing the problem. They were timely in response to my request for an inspection and equally so in scheduling the work to be done. Overall, the quality of work and cleanup was exceptional and I would highly recommend the Chimney Company to anyone considering chimney repair.
We moved into a new house and hired the Chimney Company to inspect the fireplace. They did a great job for a fair price. They did an inspection, applied caulking to cracks, and did a cleaning. They also took pictures to show me the condition of everything. There were no hidden fees and no upselling. I highly recommend them.
