VRI Electrical/Electronic Servicing

May 6, 2024 VRI rewired and decommissioned the knob and tube wiring in our house. Smart, creative and reliable - he responds to urgent situations immediately, regardless of time or day of the week. We think very highly of Doug and Kory Kavanagh.

April 25, 2024 Hats off to Doug K at VRI. Doug and his son worked for us over an extended period of months. Complete re-writing of an old home. More than a standard journeyman electrician, he/they are thorough and intuitive, creative in dealing with complex issues. I would recommend him/them to anyone for anything.

March 17, 2024 Hired Doug to upgrade service to 400 amps. An older house where you’d expect some problems but he accepted the 180 day grant deadline. Incredibly he materially delayed applying for the permit, the pre inspection and the service upgrade! Early on, a part not needed until the end was temporarily out of stock so he froze all work and let the clock run down?! Unorganized, dishonest and unmotivated project manager. Poor communicator. Unprofessional. We parted ways. He did refund. No grant though.

May 27, 2015 ### As a client of VR... As a client of VRI Electrical Contracting, I have to respond to the negative review bu Not Impressed... I had VRI Electrical do the rewire on my basement and my office and each step of the way, Doug Kavanagh kept me abreast of the status and if there were any issues. Overall I have to say it was a pleasure working with Doug Kavanagh and through that relationship I also gained a client.

June 17, 2014 ### Not impressed. Wa... Not impressed. Waited all weekend for Doug Kavangh to come give quote. Came Tuesday, gave quote said he would be back this afternoon. I cancelled another Electrican and no Doug. Called no answer, left message 2nd time. 3 rd call, not coming, asked if I could get someone else. I cancelled another company because he said he could do it. Bad service, Not happy and missed out now on even bigger job!
