"David did a good job in fixing the pipes. He is patient and considerate. Thanks, lydia"
"If I can give Red Seal Plumbing 100 stars out of 10, I would do so in an instant. In short, this company just does the job right in every way possible. I hate it that their service was needed in the first place, but I am also grateful that I had found Red Seal. Our 57-year house suffered a major flood in the winter, and we called several companies to come and do an estimate. Some gave cheaper quotes but when you look at the actual quotes, something just didn't seem right. When Alex from Red Seal came, he listened carefully to what happened to our house, examined carefully around the perimeter, and proposed to me what he felt the problems were, while also outlining some potential complications that could make the job more complicated (and costly). I felt right away that the quote he gave would actually entail the job that needed to be done to fix the problem, so we decided to go with Red Seal. David, the lead man on the job, came with his crew after we confirmed the job, and he was the most wonderful man to work with. Detailed and communicative, he came early each morning to outline for me what he would plan to do for the day, and when I returned from work each day, he would give me a debrief over what had been done, observations he had made, and what to look ahead. He and his crew also kept what could have been a very messy work place extremely clean. On multiple occasions, his crew or David himself would spend time hosing down, sweeping their work area just to keep things clean and tidy. Some complications and additional problems were discovered as David and his crew continued their work. David and Alex came and had long discussions with me, and came up with several solutions to deal with those problems. The solutions they proposed tried to minimize additional costs, while also ensuring that the future water safety of the home would not be compromised. Alex and David were creative and truly seemed to care about my wallet and the water safety of my home."
"I put in an online request, and the plumber came the very next day. Originally, I wanted just to replace a faucet cartridge, but the plumber found some faulty valves underneath that faucet (which he showed me to prove that he was not making it up). Both were repaired swiftly and done well. He cleaned up everything before leaving. Very satisfied."

I had several pieces of work done over two days, including pipe leaks, valve/pipe replacements and toilet replacements. David was exceptional in his knowledge, professionalism, and quality of work. This was by far the best experience I have had with plumbing services (and I have had many). The Red Seal Draining & Plumbing office was also excellentresponsive and professional. Highly recommended.
This is my first time hiring a plumber, so my review could be a reflection of my own inexperience more than the quality of the company. I selected Red Seal because it is BBB-accredited and has received good ratings at Google and HomeStars as well. I was looking for a company that is large enough to last many years, but small enough to have little overhead cost, and Red Seal seems to fit the bill. First of all, the quality of the service I received is satisfactory. The technician, David, removed a garbage disposal unit, and unclogged a slow shower drain; cleaned up the working areas nicely and left nothing behind. He also explained what was involved in the work, and politely answered all my questions about the material used and the pricing, etc. Second, the owner Alex and the office staff were also very courteous. Alex not only provided quotes over the phone, but also compared my options and made helpful suggestions based on his experience. There are rooms for improvements, however, in the area of service request tracking and management. First. the technician was late, being delayed at a previous engagement, arriving at 4pm when the scheduled time was between 2-4., and I wasn't notified of the delay until 2:50, an hour after I had called them to confirm. Second, the company mixed up my service request: I requested garburator replacement, they took it as removal. So the technician came without a new garburator and could not do the work. (I didn't want to re-book the service for another day and decided to change my request to removal instead.) These issues could have been avoided if the company had kept better track of their clients service requests, communicated and confirmed (in writing) with the client as well as the technicians sent to do the work. In summary, I'm satisfied with the work that was actually done, and would consider using their service in the future. Hopefully, my review would help them improve in the meantime.
