I would like to thank Andrew and Al for making all the necessary arrangements for our new fence and a couple of identical gates (all shared with our neighbour). First crew came to remove the existing fence and to install new posts, all ten of them. To make new holes they brought in a heavy duty driller called auger. I watched them as they continued to cement posts in place. All was done in about three hours; I thought that was pretty impressive. Next day we had to wait for material to be delivered which happened in late afternoon. With the weather forecast calling for all week rain, the crew of two guys started with the fence installation and finished before dark. They worked very hard. It was explained to me that each crew does only certain jobs, thus all is done really fast and well. The new gates were in place next morning just before rain. Again, a big thank you to A.D. The fellows did a good job in building our fence, however they did not provide and install post caps. I called them a number of times and was promised the caps would be installed, after 3 weeks, the post caps were installed.

Our neighbours and I are all so happy with the professionalism of this company. They were so easy to get along with and were very reliable, responsive and responsible. They did Fences for about 9 homes in our subdivision and everyone was very pleased with their work. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs a fence. We can't wait to have Ryan and his workers come back and do our deck.

What a disappointing experience. A group of us had our shared fences replaced and it wasn’t a good experience at all. At first it was nearly impossible to get a response out of the company about when they would be able to perform the work. Only after an ultimatum was given by one of our neighbours did they finally schedule a time to perform the work. Once they were done, we pointed out some really shoddy workmanship in one corner. They were completely unconcerned and flat our refused to do anything about it. To top it all off they charged several hundred dollars more than they originally quoted. I am utterly shocked

We are one of five neighbours who had adjoining fences (ours was only a partial fence) replaced by A.D. Holmes recently. Their quote was the best, and the work done by hardworking, experienced, friendly staff was excellent. I would happily recommend this company for any project.

I have been meaning to write a review of this company for a while as they took down an old fence and built an amazing fence plus 2 gates for us two years ago. They workmanship was spectacular as we got the 6x6 posts put in and I love the overlapping wood for great privacy. I like the top plate floating on top of our fence and caps used on top of the posts. The gates that they constructed are solid and with the weather changing from cold winter months and hot summer months, I sometimes need to adjust the gate hardware a bit in order to compensate for shifting but this is simply a natural issue that occurs and not due to their workmanship. They did the job in 2 days and would certainly recommend them.

AD Holmes replaced my old fence in my backyard recently. With the lumber shortage, they were the best value of all the quotes and was able to secure good quality lumber. The fence was built quickly and with no issues. They took care not to damage buried irrigation hoses along the fence line. If you need a fence or deck, they will likely be the best price and best value.

After getting quotes from a number of contractors we selected AD Holmes as they were able to provide a good solution without going over board to build a PCV deck/boardwalk around our trees and concrete patio for an upcomming Swim Spa, along with a wooden fence. Andrew walked us through the process, provided good options to keep project costs within our budget and sourced required materials. Once started work was done quickly and tradesmen were receptive to feedback for minor adustments. We're looking forward to calling them back this spring to build a connecting platform and steps once the Swim Spa arrives!

When I first hired the company, they were responsive, showed interest, so much so, that they were hired to do a second job (fence). However, when called for repair/warranty time was booked but no one showed. Last year a gentleman came to assess and said I would be contacted in a couple days. Fast forward- have not heard back in over a year. Have come to the conclusion that I must repair myself and or hire out to another company. Disappointed.
