Replacement Fence
We had Root Fencing tear down and construct a new fence for us in July. It was a fairly large job. Other contractors we reached out to you didnt even bother to call back but Mark was always very quick to quote and respond. The quote we received was very fair. The fence is fantastic. We couldnt be more pleased by its appearance and the service we received was awesome. We would recommend Root Fencing to anyone. It was really refreshing to work with a contractor you can trust.
Fence Replacement
Mark recently replaced our back fence (approx. 60') with a new 6' wood fence c/w with gate. The work was completed per the agreed-to schedule; the installation quality is deemed very good; and the final clean-up was to our satisfaction. Mark took the time to confirm our specific on-site needs and he certainly did a great job in effectively communicating throughout the job. The work was executed as per the quotation with one agreed-to nominally priced adder. In summary, we are extremely happy that we selected Root Fencing for this installation
Fence project
Out of about 9 contractors (the Homestar app auto-sends a request for quotation to about 6 random contractors despite selecting my own. This should be fixed) Tamara & Mark at Root were the first to respond, first to visit the project area and the first to provide a quote. They understood what we wanted and we're able to provide plenty of pictures of the style of fence we wanted. Within 3 weeks we had a completed fence. It looks fantastic and provides the privacy we were hoping for. Many thanks to Mark and Tamara at Root Fencing.
Cedar Deck
Mark & Tamara did a beautiful job of our deck project! They really listened to our needs, made sound recommendations, and helped us make our dream a reality. We get a ton of compliments on their work, and are really happy with the quality and attention to detail. They also spent a lot of time sourcing quality material when there was a shortage. Cedar Fence
Mark and Tamara do fantastic work. They worked on a house behind my dads place and I knew right then and there this would be the pair I'd get to do my fence. I can't believe how fast they finished our project and the quality was amazing. I would definitely recommend.
Fantastic job! Love our new fence
We had our 30 year old fence replaced with a taller cedar fence to give us more privacy. We booked with Roots Fencing to do the work while we were out of town for a few weeks in the summer. They did an amazing job, coming home to see it fully finished to such a high standard was everything we hoped for. Great service, nothing was a problem and the work is top notch. Highly recommend.
New Fence
We had a fence built by Mark and Tamara, It was a 6 Ft. fencing along a walkway, back alley and shared with our neighbors , They are very professional Amazing to work with, had our fence done very quickly, Also love the fact that Tamara & Mark hand pick every single board they use, Nothing but perfection, I will recommend them in a heart beat Absolutely, It was our pleasure having them do our fencing (PS They make the Best Dill Pickles LOL) Debbie & Raz Peterson
Fence and Front Porch Replacement
From first communication to finished product, we have been extremely impressed with the professionalism, quality of service and craftsmanship that Mark and Tamara brought to our projects. After seeing our vision, they delivered something that far exceeded our expectations with their attention to detail, high standards for product and amazing workmanship. Every step of the way, they would make sure we were happy with the progress and their level of expertise showed when they would troubleshoot areas that could be designed differently to better suit our needs. They never cut corners or made false promises. It was a pleasure to work with them both. Our kids (and dog!) miss them already!
Fence Replacement
Tamara and Mark at Root Fencing built a new fence for me. They were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. I am extremely happy with the new fence. It looks fantastic and is solid. The cost was very reasonable. They are very professional and answered all of my questions. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future projects and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build or replace a fence.
Perfect deck
So professional and very easy going especially with all the changes we made. Even when they come up with an idea, they will think about it, come back the next day, say they have second thoughts about it and come up with a better idea. Highly recommend them. Their craftsmanship is impeccable.
Fence and Gate Project
We moved into a new house in a new community. We had a good-neighbour fence built by Root Fencing on the recommendation of our neighbour (who had used Root Fencing in the past). It was a good decision as we liked their work. This latest project entailed a trailer gate and man gate at the back of our house, a short fence extension and man gate at the front of our house, as well as a short section of fence on the other side of the house. Mark and Tamara do great work. They do all the work themselves (ie. no subcontractors), so they have complete control over the quality of the work, and they are great to work with. We loved the final result and will be asking them to build a deck for us next year.
Fence Project
Tamara was quick to respond and answer any questions. Mark and Tamara worked efficiently and kept a clean worksite. Despite challenging conditions (snow/mud) the project was completed in a reasonable timeframe. The cost came in exactly as quoted with no surprises. The end result looks great. I would recommend them for all of your fencing needs!
Hard Work Appreciated and Happy Customers
These guys worked through crazy amounts of mud and our wacky fence line to create a beautiful fence that we love and one that is secure for our dogs! I love that they don't subcontract out any work and are easy to talk to. Thanks so much Mark and Tamara

A job well done. Very pleased with the results as are my neighbours! Very beefy looking as we got the privacy fence around our backyard.
