Basement Reno We hired Mod-Art in 2023 to do a full (and amazing) kitchen reno. When we decided to redo our basement we knew we wanted Derek and his hardworking crew back to do the job. They reinsulated the walls, updated the lighting, added shelfs, new flooring, paint and blinds to transform our dated, dark basement into something modern and beautiful. We absolutely love our new space and are so thankful to Mod-Art for making this a reality.
Built New Tongue-and-Groove Floor and Wall in Basement Very good experience with Mod-Art Renovations. The project went well and we are delighted with the results. Communication with Derek was easy and clear, and he was very helpful in the planning process. We were impressed with the promptness, detail and transparency of the estimate process, and the price came in as forecast.

Rec Room Ceiling Suspended and Chiprock ceiling were both done very well. The workers were very pleasant and the price was very reasonable. Strongly recommended.
Bathroom Tile He helped me determine what woukd work best in the space. From finding the perfect tile to the spacing of tiles based on use and traffic. It was obvious he knew his stuff. Work was done with integrity, no cutting corners! End result was my beautifully tiled bathroom! He even went above and beyond to see if he could help with the bathroom fan deficiencies.

Bathroom/Shower Renovation Derek and his team did a great job with my shower renovation. They were very accommodating and communicated with me thru the entire process on what was being done and when. My bathroom looks better than it ever did and i would definitely call Derek about any future products.
Ceiling Repairs A friend had previously recommended Derek for home renovations, so I turned to him when I needed some ceiling repairs in my home. When I met him I instantly knew I wouldn't have an issue handing him a key to my home to do the work. In addition to being trustworthy, he showed up when he said he would and his work was of a very high quality. His work was so nice, I almost didn't want to have it painted it over. He's now slated for a bathroom renovation in my father's home.
Plumbing Had a major plumbing issue with kitchen/bathroom. Luckily a friend recommended Derek who figured out the issues and got the job done in a day. The project came in on budget and communication you receive about the job/texting you back is outstanding! If you want a professional,who's upfront about what needs to be done, gives receipts for materials (no markups here) and gets it done properly, I recommend Mod-art Renovation.
Kitchen Reno We had been putting off renovating the kitchen for years. When we had the consultation with Derek we were really impressed with his ideas and were excited to commit with Mod-Art and get started. Derek was honest about the time line of the project & cost. He explained everything thoroughly and was always willing to explain one more time for me if I didnt understand :) He was always upfront about any issues or added costs that sometimes arise with renos, providing us with detailed work orders and receipts. He transformed this 1960's kitchen into a modern, beautiful space that I am proud to show off to friends and family!
Wall Removal We are so happy with our results! Derek and his guys kept their work area tidy. I really appreciated being kept in the loop daily as there was some electrical involved. They finished it with time to spare on a tight schedule right before the holidays. It made it so much easier to entertain family with the extra space. Looking forward to the next project on our list!

Basement Development I highly recommend Derek from Mod-Art He turned my old basement into a great looking & functional space.One of the new highlights is I had a dingy old 2 pice bathroom .Now it is a nice bright modern 3 piece with venting! I made a few changes along the way and Derek made great suggestions from flooring To drywall, paint & finishing All the work is solid, & top notch. My basement is now nicer than the rest of my house.
Demo, Framing, Door/Window Install After a negative experience with another contractor Derek and Jordan came to the rescue. They were prompt, tidy, considerate and professional. I was particularly impressed with the level of detail on the quote. It was very clear how my money was spent, down to the cent, which gave me great comfort. 100% recommend.
Install Drywall, Mud, Tape and Prime We wanted work done to our plaster ceiling, after numerous emails and phone calls Derek Birch from MOD-ART renovation was the only person that responded to our request!!!! A little heads up to other contractors return your calls and emails even if you can't do the work. Derek called set up a time to review our work and came up with a solution to our problem. Started work on time and finished on time. We are very happy with the work done. 5 STARS A small shout out to his son....keep up the good work. Need work done ? Call Derek First. Drywall Repair I was playing phone tag with other contractors for months until I had enough and decided to try my luck elsewhere. Derek from Mod-Art was very quick to respond and very pleasant to deal with. I had been talking to the previous contractor for 3 months and got nowhere; from the time I had called Derek to the time the project was completed, it took only 3 weeks! Highly recommend Mod-Art and will be using them in the future should any projects come up.
