John came over to look at our roofing. He took photos the roofs, front and back. He provided a detailed separate estimates for front and back. The cost was reasonable so we accepted. The work was completed in two days, one for the front (slope and peak and front porch) and the following day for the flat roof in the back. Work crew was helpful and did a great job cleaning up. John emailed photos of the roofing job: it looks great. Communication was easy and prompt. And, as I mentioned, they did a very thorough clean up. Would highly recommend John and his crew.

I have used J Stewart Roofing a few times and the people who work there are professional, efficient and friendly. Prices for various jobs were very fair. The one thing that I must emphasize is that they are HONEST. John came out because some shingles were missing on my roof and I asked him if the roof needed replacement. We hired J. Stewart to replace our roof back in 1998. We had no problems the entire time. But we could see it needed to be re-done especially as storms are getting worse. We needed new shingles and a new flat roof. Called them up and they provided photos of the flat roof (which obv we cannot see from the ground), an estimate, and a timeline. They did everything as promised, and we expect to be satisfied for at least another 25 years. I'm attaching before and after pics of the flat roof.

We are very happy with the work J.Stewart roofing completed on our home. Of the three companies I contacted for quotes, John was the only person that went up on the roof to assess the cause of the leak and provided solutions for prevention of this issue again in the future. The crew were respectful of our property and cleaned up after completion of the job leaving the yard looking better than they found it. The job was finished ahead of schedule and there were no surprises added to the original quote. Definitely would recommend.

I highly recommend John and his crew to do your roof. My neighbour recommended him and told me that he was the original roofer that did my house almost 18 years ago! We had a small leak in the winter, so his people came out to fix it until they were able to replace the roof in the spring. The leak was a hard one to find but they persisted and our roof was one of the first in the season for him to replace. John took photos for the quote and took his time in explaining all the work that was needed. Because he did the roof previously, he had the details of that job and the history of certain existing features. The job was done on time and John came himself to help with the flat roof section of the roof. The worksite was kept clean and an after bin pickup walk through was done by John personally to make sure no nails or other garbage was left on site. He also took photos of the completed roof. Also right after the roof job was done, we had a bunch of those massive downpours. I called him because we had a lot of rain pouring off the roof. He responded asap and we were able to determine that it was in fact the eaves trough that was incorrectly installed and even though he had nothing to do with the eavestrough as part of this job, he fixed it for me just because he is such a nice person and wanted us to be happy with the result. My communications with John have been prompt and friendly. The roof looks great and we had no issues with the rain ever since the adjustment of the eavestrough. If you need a roofer, call John.
