May 8, 2024 Broke the water hose to my laundry machine, left without testing. I was not told anything so I used my laundry machine as usual and later saw water flooding my unit. They told me they had tested it and that it was not their fault, however the last person to touch the hose was the company yet they refused to admit their fault. Scam company and amateur workers, be careful and stay away!

May 4, 2017 Worst plumbing service ever. DO NOT use this company they are a rip off. They charge by time and will drag on a simple job so you end up paying extra for nothing. Dishonest and way overpriced. Don't waste your time or money call another place.

April 1, 2016 ### Totally impressed I had New Water come in to address a problem I had with my shower leaking onto the ceiling of the condo below me. They were familiar with the units in our condo, and as such were recommended by the condo board. The skill with which the plumber executed his craft saved me hundreds of dollars. Talent is hard to find in the trades, and the guy that NW dispatched to service my problem was top notch.

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Always confirm credentials and quotes with the business directly before hiring.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
