January 30, 2020 Troy said we would spend most of our time in the sunroom, and we have, even though it has been raining much of the time since it was completed! The design with red cedar is great, the materials are top-quality, and the crew who did the installation were excellent, punctual and tactful. They added some details and fixes that were not in the original quote. We are very pleased with the result.

January 10, 2017 Northern Tropic Sunrooms was chosen from the list of quotes received. Manager Troy outlined the scope of work required and provided a detailed written estimate in a timely fashion to complete the work. The workmen were prompt, courteous and patient to field our queries during construction. John, the lead carpenter, amazed us with his attention to detail and workmanship. During construction the property was kept clean and returned to it's original condition upon completion.

October 19, 2016 I had 3 quotes for the same job, a glass patio cover. Two were similar. This company was 3 times the cost. After 3 discounts (to make it look like I was getting a deal) they were still double the price. They even used scare tactics, i.e. "This Is what we use, this is code, what are the others using" Troy hand wrote that on the quote. They wanted to charge me for storing materials .The quote was also only good for 3 days trying to pressure me into making a fast decision.I don't like wasting money

February 11, 2012 ### Our Sunroom exceeds our expectations Hello, I'm writing to let you know of our positive experience with Northern Tropic Solariums. Here is our experience that I want to share with you: We hired Troy Nelson of Northern Tropics Solariums to make us a custom sunroom. He met all his contractual agreements, his work staff was congenial and kept us well informed. Everyone seemed very well qualified and worked hard, keeping the workspace tidy and safe at all times. We are extremely pleased with the end result. We feel we have a sunroom which has added to the value of our home and the quality of our lifestyle. We want to give special mention to the carpenters who worked on our sunroom: Dave and Jamie were exceptional. Glen who came around for specific tasks was extremely good, too, and kept the work on track. Everyone always had time for questions and worked hard consistently. A custom sunroom takes time. The job took about six weeks including a two week wait for the custom glass. We can highly recommend this company for a good quality product. We are just delighted with our solarium.
