Stop leakage: Probably from outside
We are very grateful to MMT and his guys for waterproofing the walls and ceiling of our cellar. Mario is very knowledgeable, honest and pleasant. He is the only one that told us we didn’t need a sump pump for OUR problem. The mere fact that the City would not give us a rebate for the sump pump, meant that we didn’t need it. It would have been a waste of money. Thank you Mario for your accurate estimation and job well done. We received several quotes and MMT’s was very reasonable. The guys even helped lift the tall storage shelves out of the cellar and put it back after completion of the job. They also removed all the rubble and left the place tidy. Very pleased with MMT and his team. MMT waterproofing is the company you want to hire and you won’t be disappointed.

We were very pleased with the work that MMT did to waterproof our basement. I had noticed a mouldy smell in the corner and I contacted Mario because he had received a very high rating and excellent reviews. He responded to my request right away, and arrived very soon after I contacted him. He closely examined our walls and checked to see if the sump pump was working. He took time to clearly explain all the steps for waterproofing the walls in the corner of our basement, and gave us a quote for the job. When we accepted his proposal, he arrived with his employees to explain the work that was required. They lay down long carpets to protect our floors and stairs, and they hung plastic to contain any dust. After removing the drywall, they showed me where the stones were damp. Water had leaked down from a crack on the outside of our house. They worked efficiently and did an excellent job waterproofing our basement from floor to ceiling. The mouldy smell is gone! Highly recommend MMT.
Stop leakage: Clogged drain, Window well doesn't drain as it should...
First - talked and met Mario to go over the project, price and time frame. Everything looked good to me. Very prompt & polite. We suffered flooding during huge storms, the window well would fill up and not drain. Water poured in through the windows. Second - 2 guys showed up on the day, tarped everything and trust me digging a hole that big couldn't have been easy. They showed me all new materials being used and how they were being used. Took pictures. Even filled in some extra concrete holes. Third - Other than a new window well, it was put back exactly as before. Very clean work. No more flooding during mega storms. Completed all in one day. Forth - Price was perfect. Lucky me I received a $1000 from Mississauga for flood prevention to help. Came with a 25 yr warranty. Don't waste too much time shopping around, always use the professionals. Happy Customer.

Mario was great at explaining everything and giving all the details before we decided to go with MMT. We did our interior waterproofing and the pricing was very reasonable. Their work was tidy and done to a high degree of quality. I would highly recommend him!
Sump Pump installation and more!
Mario is a star. He's honest, knowledgeable, genuine and trustworthy. He is exactly who you should look for if you have water issues in your basement. He will take time to personally diagnose the problem, walk you through the solutions and discuss all options, and never, ever oversell. He was referred to me by a great client of mine and helped me tremendously. He is of excellent character and I will not hesitate to refer him whenever I have the opportunity as I know he will treat my clients and friends how I expect them to be treated and that is with the highest level of service and expertise. If you have a wet basement and are reading these to make your choice, please stop reading and call Mario at MMT Waterproofing.

I have all good things to say about Mario and his team at MMT Waterproofing. From our first meeting, Mario was very knowledgeable, straightforward and pleasant. He gave me all the options to fix my leaking basement. I wasn't pressured with any sales pitch, and Mario patiently answered all my questions. When the job started, his crew was efficient and hard working. Digging 7 foot deep trenches by hand in hot weather could not have been easy. Their clean-up afterwards was great! I am extremely happy with the work completed by MMT Waterproofing (and I no longer have to wipe up water in my basement after rain storms).

Leak in my basement
I cant recommend MMT Waterproofing enough! This is the second time Ive hired them to address a leaky basement issue, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. Mario and his team were professional, efficient, and meticulous in their work. MMT Waterproofing was recommended to me through a friend, and I would like to pay it forward and share my positive experience working with this professional and punctual team. After experiencing flood damage from the July 2024 GTA storms, it was difficult to find a contractor to partner with due to the high demand. Several other companies were price gouging at the time. However, Mario came highly recommended to me from a close friend and I was very impressed with his promptness and professionalism quoting my job. His crew completed foundation waterproofing (down to the footing) and other preventative repairs to ensure my home was water tight. In addition to the quality work, the crew cleaned the work area very well and the prices were very reasonable. All of this with a hard copy warranty.
Basement waterproofing
After two successive floods this summer we decided to bite the bullet and waterproof the basement level. We received a number of quotes and MMT's was very competitive, this, combined with the excellent reviews they consistently receive made our selection easy. I am sure that every homeowner dreads these projects where the entire perimeter of the house is affected but Mario and the team at MMT made it as painless as possible. The project started on time and was completed on target. MMT's employees were polite, pleasant, conscientious and were great overall, leaving the work site tidy each night. The work itself looks great and we are looking forward to many "dry" years to come. Thanks Mario and team
