Rent A Son

Thank you Rent-A-Son! You helped us move out of our home and also move most of our items into storage as we are renovating our home. The team was fantastic! I am a professional event planner (Type A :) and they treated me with total respect. Very professional and hard working, only taking a 15 minute break despite my insistence they take a longer one. Got the job done in two hours less than quoted and there was some HEAVY stuff to move! I highly recommend Cliff as your move lead as he was ON it! John was also fantastic as our move coordinator - he was super responsive and answered my MANY questions. We will be moving back to our home once the renovation is done and will definitely be using Rent-A-Son again!

I needed some large items of furniture moved within the house, including a large sideboard with hutch from the second story to the garage. The young men arrived on time, were exceedingly polite and helpful. They wrapped the furniture, including boxing up glass shelves, and left it all very organized in the garage for a charity to pick up. As they still had time left on my contract, they asked a few times if there was anything else they could do for me before they left. I am very pleased with their service from booking to completion.

Our entire experience with Rent a Son was phenomenal from start to finish. John, our sales associate was so easy to work with and answered all my questions - plus he even made a last minute change to our move time at no extra cost or fuss. Our movers, Oriki and Corban were the best - they arrived on time (actually I think early!) and they were so friendly - they made a point to know & remember our names and they were so diligent and careful with our furniture. They made sure to review everything with us first and find out what things we wanted to be extra careful with, they also wrapped some of our items for us - which was amazing! These guys stayed a little longer than was contracted and they also helped us move a large couch that wasn't in the original scope - what a lifesaver! Honestly, we couldn't stop telling everyone after the move how happy we were that we hired movers to load our things into our trailer - we initially thought we would do it all ourselves - but wow was it nice to not lift heavy and awkward items after days of packing! We have had bad experiences in the past with movers showing up late and charging a lot of extra fees at the end of the move - this was not the case with Rent a Son and I would highly recommend their service. Two friendly chaps arrived on schedule and after taking a look at what needed to be moved from where to where, set about their tasks. They worked diligently to avoid damaging or scratching walls and furniture and were ultimately successful. While it was not a large or complicated move, there were stairs and large sofas involved as well as a newly painted hall and room and all went well. The two movers were friendly and careful throughout and were on their way within the originally estimated time frame and so the cost estimate was accurate. I am very satisfied.

I hired Rent-a-Son a week ago for a small move & couldn't be happier with the job they did for me. John, the Moving Coordinator, was a pleasure to deal with - very professional & helpful to me when setting up my move. Amanvei & Denys, the two movers, worked quickly & were careful moving all of my items. It was amazing how strong they were. I had thought it would take two persons to move a couple of my really heavy items, but it only took one of them to carry each one of my extremely heavy items up & down stairs with no problems. As well, I was shocked when I received the final bill for my move as it was less than the amount quoted to me on my original estimate as it took the movers less time than anticipated to load & unload my items. I would definitely recommend Rent-a-Son to anyone wanting a reputable moving company & will not hesitate to use them again for my next move.

While searching for a mover on HomeStars, I came across Rent-A-Son, which had many positive reviews. I decided to go with them and glad I did. They were professional and their service was top notch from start to finish. The crew was punctual, friendly and took great care not to damage anything. They took less time than their estimate and I only paid for the time spent. I highly recommend them. I hear horror stories about movers but if you do your research and hire a mover like Rent-A-Son, you will avoid a bad move.

A friend recommended Rent-a-Son so I booked them for a small move within my apartment building. Oriki and Brock were great: polite, organized and professional. Everything was moved quickly and carefully. I would definitely book them again

Rent-a-son did a great job from start to finish. John in the office handled my estimate and moving details, Oriki, Leon, and Aaron showed a lot of effort and care in moving our items. They didn't waste any time throughout the move. I've had movers in the past waste time as members of the team stood around, but the moving team from Rent-a-son (lead by Oriki) handled everything perfectly and my moving cost was actually less than the estimate.

We just had a great experience with Oriki, Leon and Theodore moving the contents of our house into a shipping container heading for Calgary. We had packed up most of the house but they were great in taking care of anything we missed, especially in protecting fragile and antique items. They were friendly, professional and very efficient. We would absolutely use Rent-a-Son in the future, especially if we knew we'd be getting these three great guys.

The crew of four men (Oriki, Leon, Marcus and Theodore) were fast and efficient, and really went above and beyond to get the job done! They looked after every detail, including packing up any remaining items (we had packed up ourselves), disassembling and reassembling furniture, and protecting fragile items. We were a bit overwhelmed with moving out of our house of 22 years and these guys took so much of the stress away. They were so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Rent-a-Son!
