Detailed reviews

Jay Flint5.0 / 5 ·

Rahul was on time, fine young chap and he did an excellent job in good time. I was so glad I hired him and I truly can recommend him.

Sarabjit Singh5.0 / 5 ·

He is polite and professional. The blinds were installed neatly and I’m happy with the result. I’d recommend them.

Mike C5.0 / 5 ·

Rahul is new to Homestars but he actually has over 6 yrs of experience. So although I was worried that he only had a few ratings it turned out that he's very meticulous, very professional and has excellent prices. Highly recommended.

Anonymous5.0 / 5 ·

Rahul is great! He was able to accommodate an urgent request, did a great job of communicating and specing the work with me ahead of time. He arrived on time and was very efficient and respectful. The work he did is immaculate with a seamless transition between what was existing and the repair. The work areas were spotless after he left. 10/10 would recommend.

We highly recommend Rahul and will use him again in the future for repairs around the house. He installed 4 window blinds for us - he communicated with us beforehand, arrived on time, and did a great job.

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
No credentials are shown here and the business has not claimed this profile. Ask to see certificates and insurance directly.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
