Highlights

Peter was the only contractor who showed up on site to review the work to be performed. He also showed up on time when he said he would. There were aspects to the job that were not anticipated, but his additional costs were reasonable. We are really happy with the finished work, it looks amazing! I would recommend Peter to anyone, and we plan on hiring him again soon to do other work.

construction was excellent and on time within budget you cannot find a better person to do this than Peter. He arrived when he said he would and completed the construction within a week. He is definitely a tradesman worth hiring for any construction project.

What to check before you hire

Worth checking yourself
Only a few public reviews are shown. Ask for recent references you can contact.
Their public evidence comes from a single source. Look them up on another site before deciding.
No credentials are shown here and the business has not claimed this profile. Ask to see certificates and insurance directly.
Trade licensing in Canada is set by each province or territory. Electrical, gas and plumbing are licensed trades almost everywhere (for example ESA for electrical and TSSA for gas in Ontario), so check your provincial regulator that the contractor is certified for the work before you hire.
A construction lien is a real risk: in every province an unpaid subcontractor or supplier can register a lien against your home even if you already paid the main contractor. Hold back the statutory amount (commonly around 10%) and get signed lien waivers as you pay.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
