I used Homestars for a small basement bathroom renovation. Mason responded first and stopped by that afternoon to assess the work. He provided a couple of suggestions to save money on the project (which I appreciated and we used). I chose him over 2 other options due to his suggestions, cost and personality. He and his team were great. They worked for 11 days straight to complete the job, with Mason on-site for parts of every day. He discovered a couple of structural surprises along the way, but quickly devised and executed solutions. While working, we asked his team to also re-tile part of our laundry room, fix a broken door, and fill a large ceiling opening. He and his team did a great job with all of them, and at very fair prices IMO. He was professional, trustworthy, friendly and very competent. He will be my first call for future projects, and I have already recommended his services to two of my friends.
Mason has done a perfect job. Very honest and trustworthy. He guarantees his job by coming back twice to fix a couple of minor issues months after the job completion. Highly recommend him!
Mason of York Development Group did an outstanding job. His team, and all the subcontractors he managed, were incredibly professional, polite, and competent. The work was completed on schedule with a clean worksite. Working in very old homes is always difficult and Mason handled the unexpected gracefully sometimes putting in extra long days to ensure we met the timelines. Mason was consultative and approachable when discussing changes. The costs of the changes we added were reasonable and very quickly handled. Fantastic work and thank you! - Dave G.
Mason and his team did a fantastic job. They worked to a high standard and are meticulous with details. Mason also had some good ideas to improve upon the design. I was really impressed how hard they worked to protect floors, doors and walls and clean up the job site at the end of the day. Everyone was very respectful. I would definitely hire again.
