Great service, great price
Rare electrical completely rewired all lighting in my house and created many custom circuits though the space. Great service, great quality work and really friendly guy. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Great, affordable, service
Got 3 quotes and their quote was the most reasonable. Explained how hed do the work, where hed need to cut holes and so on Made sure I knew when they were coming and arrived on time. Great service and communication.
Wonderful and professional
Josko was very prompt with responding to our issue and came on a weekend for us - as that was the only time we were available. He fixed an outlet and a damaged breaker for us. Outdoor Landscaping and Soffit Lighting
We live on an unusually dark street and had Rare Electrical install more lighting outside our house.Josko installed outdoor landscaping lighting in the backyard and exterior down lighting to the soffits.He completed the job in an afternoon & was asked to come back a week later to do our front yard because we were so impressed & added more! The outdoor lighting has added more safety at night, security & has overall enhanced our home value. Our family & guests have really enjoyed our illuminated yard!
Building rewiring
Rare Electric was amazing when they upgraded the electrical in our 70 year old 2 story building. Josko was extremely professional , he showed up when promised and completed all work in the time he specified. We needed to upgrade the store and two apartments above to ensure compliance with our insurance policy. His work was impeccable and there were no surprises. He ensured all permits and inspections were completed . This was a great experience. I will definitely use Rare Electric again.
Full House Rewiring and Service Panel Upgrade
Josko rewired my entire home, which includes a basement apartment, and future proofing for conversion to a triplex down the road. He installed three panels and managed a service move and upgrade with Toronto Hydro. He was a pleasure to have on site and several tradespeople commented on the quality of his work. I would happily use him again for my next project.
Outlet Install
I hired them to install an outlet for my microwave. I assumed they would install a 20 amp breaker and outlet. They used a 15 amp breaker and upon completion I asked them to upgrade to a 20 amp. They didn't want to do it and now the breaker trips every time I use the microwave. My issue is that I've emailed and left a voicemail to ask them to rectify the issue, but they are unresponsive. Very disappointed. I can't recommend based on this....
affordable creative solution
Before we met Josko, we thought we would have to cut through drywall and essentially re-wire our entire house. We consulted with various electricians but Josko was the only one who proposed a creative and affordable solution to our electrical problems. Not only did we not have to re-wire the house, we also spent significantly less than we intended. We are convinced that Josko is a genius and we are so grateful that we met him!

The work was completed quickly, thoroughly, efficiently from a cost perspective, cleanly and to a high standard. Communication was excellent both prior and during. I have already recommended the company and will use them again.
Ceiling fan installation (into concrete ceiling), pot light installation
Josko came to the site to provide a quote (free of charge). He was on time, provided a timely and reasonable quote as well as some other great suggestions for the space. At the time of installation, he was on time, professional, polite, worked efficiently and did a great job! I am very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to hire him again in the future as well as recommend him to family and friends!
Service upgrade to 200amps
Josko was friendly, fast and reasonably priced. I can't remember being so satisfied with a contractor. He was able get my service upgraded from 100 amps to 200 amps in a few hours. He quickly dealt with any unforeseen issues and handled all interactions with the ESA. Highly recommended!
Ceiling Light Installation
Josko arrived at my residence promptly at the time discussed and finished the project in a timely manner. He explained everything that needed to be done and made sure we were happy with the work. He also left the work site very clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
