Fixed a Leaking Toilet and Redid the Damaged Ceiling below We really appreciated how quickly Seven Pillars responded to our situation. They were professional and friendly. Not only was the job done well they worked worked hard to complete it for our deadline.

Flooring and Painting We had Seven Pillars remove the carpet on the upstairs and downstairs steps and replace it with laminate. I was impressed with the suggestions they gave us and with the quality of the workmanship. Eric returned to make some minor repairs on the steps with no problem. We also had them paint our downstairs family room. All workers were very pleasant and professional. The paint job looks great. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and customer service of Seven Pillars.

Custom Shelving Eric and his team installed custom shelving for our kitchen island and for our laundry room. We couldn't be more happy with the work. The laundry room work also included a countertop over the washer and dryer. This request was a follow-up to an extensive renovation that Seven Pillars Custom Building completed in the prior year for us. We would recommend Seven Pillars over and over for anything from a simple alteration to a full home renovation. Eric is quick to respond to any issues and has the experience to address and problems that may arise.

Pantry Door Replacement We contacted Eric to replace our outdated bi-fold doors with a more modern looking French pantry doors. The quote was reasonable for the work completed and was completed on time and budget. They were very responsive to our questions and post-work cleanup was excellent. Most importantly, the final product looks great. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Basement Finish We finished our basement this year and chose Eric and Seven Pillars. Start to Finish it was excellent, professional, on time, and on budget. The workmanship was top notch and my wife and I could not be more pleased with how it came together in the end. Seven Pillars gets our highest recommendation, you should select them if you need any finishing or remodelling/building needs. Just a great experience all around.

Mudding, Taping and Ceiling Fantastic service and finished product. From initial consultation to the exceptional end result, we were very impressed with our experience. Would highly recommend Eric for any contracting role and will definitely hire again.

Mudding and Taping Eric completed our mudding and tapping for our basement in December 2020. My husband and I were very happy with the work Eric did and he was very easy to communicate. Eric worked hard to complete our project before Christmas, putting in extra time on the weekend and spent full days getting it done for us. We really appreciated his work ethic and quality of work. We would definitely recommend Eric to friends and family.

Lighting Fixture Installation Eric is awesome! The work was done quickly and professionally. He is always clean and tidy and and he goes above and beyond. I had a recent surgery and couldn’t shovel my driveway - before he even started the work he took care of the shovelling - great guy!

Basement, Laundry, Fireplace Reno We have engaged Eric's team at Seven Pillars for two separate projects. Both time Eric personally oversaw all aspects from discussion of ideas, quoting, and selection of trades. We couldn't have asked for a more trustworthy partner in the process. Our basement reno was a time based situation in 2016. We had family coming for Christmas and a downstairs bedroom and bath were high on the list of priorities to ensure our family had a comfortable place to stay! Eric kept the project on track and navigated inevitable challenges along the way. He is very open and proactive in meeting our needs, and communicating exactly where we were in the process. The end result was beyond our expectations and 4 years later it remains a testament to his abilities to turn ideas into family dreams. More recently, we had Seven Pillars back to tackle a fireplace and laundry reno. He took our concepts, and brought in a designer to work through the details to make sure we were all worki6towards a common vision. This was the summer of Covid, so on top of the fact he keeps his workspaces very tidy, he had the additional stress of sanitation and keeping our family safe. The end result was on time and budget. He conscientiously managed all aspects of the work, and took time to tackle and mount an antique beam as a mantle, and wouldn't quit until it was perfect and secure. We were delighted with the entire process. Our family cannot reccomend Eric and his team at Seven Pillars highly enough. We trusted him in our home, around our kids and pets, and with our dreams of what we wanted our home to look like. It is a long process and we are not finished yet. You can bet we will have Seven Pillars back when we are are ready for our next interior project.

Ensuite Bathroom My wife wanted a big soaker tub. We shopped around for a contractor to install one and settled on Seven Pillars. We chose Eric because he was very knowledgeable about all the factors to consider, because he cared about selecting the right room to install it, and respecting all codes. He was very personable and patient in explaining to us the work that our project entailed. He made sure the tub had no defects whatsoever before installing it. He did a quality job in a short time, and we are very happy with our new en suite bathroom.
