Clearview Home & Property Inspections

Since I was purchasing an older home, I requested an extended home inspection, and based on my realtor's strong recommendation, I went with Clearview. The inspector was extremely thorough and quickly checked every corner of the house. After completing each portion of the inspection, he explained everything to me. Even though English isn't my first language, he communicated in a clear and concise way, making it easy for me to understand. When I later reviewed the report, it was well-organized with photos and detailed explanations, making it clear what issues needed attention and how to address them. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.

I takeover a newly constructed townhouse from builder. For the purpose to ensure everything is fine. I hired Tom of ClearView to inspect the house. Tom provided excellent customer service by explain the issue throughly. I would recommend his services.

Tom did an incredible job inspecting our home pre-offer on a tight timeline. He was extremely thorough and explained everything in a clear and detailed way. Our home is a fixer-upper from 1908 and was being sold as-is. As first-time home buyers looking for a place to live long term it was so reassuring to have Tom walk us through the condition of the property from top to bottom. The report he provided helped us come up with an offer we were comfortable with and now that were living in the house and tackling projects, we refer to it to prioritize work. Tom did a thorough job. He pointed ou a few things in the interior and exterior that we needed to consider. His approach to the work and his communication was very professional. I liked that he explained and demonstrated how the thermal camera works. I highly recommended him.

This is our third time with his company. Tom has always been very thorough and systematic with the home inspections. Very informative without being overwhelming. The report is very detailed as well, categorizing all the issues by severity, and including photos of all the findings. Definitely would consult him again for future inspections.

Tom did a great job doing the inspection of our home. He found 2 major issues(one water damage and one roof related), which helped us negotiate the price $5K lower with the seller.
