“The technicians were super courteous, tidy and efficient. They went over the cause of mold in my attic with me in detail with photos. Office phone support was also very helpful, making sure to answer my many questions thoughtfully and patiently before and after the job. Would hire again (but hopefully with their advice I won't have to 😉)”

Remove Mold, Asbestos and Toxic Materials
My choice to go with the mold guy and their process using peracetic acid was due to the short time required-just 3 hours, budget-friendly pricing and the fact they swore there were no fumes; In fact nothing would escape the attic and they would take special measures to ensure nothing did, as I expressed extreme concern over the presence of pets in the house, especially my parrot who would be very sensitive. While chatting on the main level after completion, I started smelling an odour, went upstairs to find the room he'd worked in full of the smell of the product and the door left wide open. Upon commenting to him, he made excuses, and had a cavalier attitude. This supposed professional also had not known the name of the chemical used when asked. Yes The job was done and all the proof supplied as promised, all very satisfactory. Thankfully, my pets were fine, but it's hard to recommend, considering
Mold and air quality testing
We bought an older house which was sold "as is" due to the seller being estate. We wanted to do some extra due diligence before removing conditions, so we had mold air-quality testing done in all the 3 floors of the house. The whole experience was super positive. Both Kay from the office and the inspector were really friendly and efficient. The inspector also helped us giving instructions how we can remove some harmless mold from the walls by ourselves. The results came fast and were really clear. We can warmly recommend the company.
Excellent customer service!
Kay was fantastic to work with - she gave us a very reasonable quote and was understanding and accommodating for some unique circumstances for the space that needed mold remediation. Would highly recommend their services.
Mold removal
I called The Mold Guy and was able to get someone to come out the next morning. They were very professional and clean. The next day, someone came out to do the air quality test and again, it was a very pleasant experience.
Asbestos test
Very happy with the prompt and courteous service, as I was worried about asbestos in my house. Also I was given a detailed analysis of the sample. Thanks so much to The Mold Guy. Im relieved.

Mold Remediation
Thank you to the team @ The Mold Guy for carrying out an efficient, effective and honest service in removing mold spots that was discovered in my basement. Kay - the voice behind the phone - was quite polite, gentle and patient with me, thanks for that. Phil who did the initial inspection, was honest with my inquiries and answered his cell whenever I'd call. Thanks. Matt, who did the actual remediation, did a kick-ass job in removing the mold in a tidy and professional manner, with awesome clean cuts in the drywall too. The service was provided in a timely manner as well - a few days wait - and they were able to accommodate the initial inspection the day after I called. I also appreciated how I was sent formal documentation after the service was performed such as 'before and after' pics and a certificate to say what service was performed. I guess if there's one con out of all this it's that there would of been a service charge had I paid with my credit card. If you folks can have that changed for your future customers then that would be great An all around great experience and I will call them with any future mold remediation requirements. Thanks!
